Default Snowbound horror movies
This time of year, I always like watching Misery and The Shining. The isolated-in-the-mountains setting really ups the suspense and the wintery atmosphere is so palpable you can practically feel the cold weather on your face.

Can anybody recommend similar horror movies? Especially if they are of the slow burn variety, where the suspense gradually boils until finally erupting into full-on terror.
