Australia Where is Australian Audition?

People will probably think I'm weird for this the first minute, but let me tell you I've never seen this Takashi Miike movie before or any other of his films. Why when I look up Blu-Ray listings for recent Australian Blu-Ray releases does Audition not show up? Has the OFLC had trouble re-rating it? Licensing issues? I have no idea. I want to know if anybody's seen this Blu-Ray in shops in Australia regardless, because I could have SWORN I saw it in Borders, otherwise my eyes could be tricking me... T___T

what ever your on please share with me.

i doubt we will see any of miike's stuff here for a while on blu ray we are still struggling to get alot of main stream hollywood stuff so i don't like our chances of getting something so far off the grid yet sadly.

Yeah, might have been an import version actually - Borders tends to have those. Heard the American transfer isn't good so will wait for the Aussie release unless I notice the OFLC has slapped a big black R sticker on it notifying me that yes, the OFLC board has been forced to watch it yet again, and is now available for local sale.

I got the German DVD which is Region ALL and PAL formatted. And it has a rarity among the German releases; it actually has English subtitles on the disc. I managed to pick it up back in 2005 for 7 Euro. It claims to be the Uncut version and states it's 115 minutes when it's actually 110 minutes. I don't know if it's due to the PAL speed up or not. But it's a bizarre film but I really like it.
