Default Your Favorite Action Sequence/Half Hour

So I wanted to kill some time before I put in some MW2. I did not want to watch a whole movie so I popped in

Live Free or Die Hard.

Let me tell you, the first 17 minutes is pretty damn action PACKED!!Righ up until McCLiane says "See it? I did it!"

Might be an interesting topic but....

What are some great action sequence or sequences?

Another that comes to mind is with out a doubt the opening of Saving Private Ryan

edit: If this has been done before kick my shins I'm sorry I was to"lazy" to do the research

Well there already is a thread about your favorite fight scenes, but seeing that I will get jumped for mentioning that, I will simply mention some great sequences:

Battles of 300
Battles of Braveheart
The Bourne Trilogy has some pretty intense fights.

Hard Boiled (the entire third act in the hospital)

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (say what you will about the movie, the breathless pace of the last half hour is Spielberg at the top of his game)

Say what you want, but the big battle scene in the Two Towers has to be one of my favorite.

The car chase about 2/3 through Ronin. One of my favorite car chases.

And of course the IMAX scenes in Dark Knight.

And the Vietnam scenes in Forrest Gump culminating in Bubba's death are good too.

The escape from Cyberdyne lab in T2.

Possibly Cameron's best chase scene.

I would say the battle of Helm's Deep in The Two Towers and the D-Day intro of Saving Private Ryan are the two most intense and magnificent action sequences ever put together.
