I'm not sure if there is another thread like this, but I thought that it would be useful/fun if people posted their favorite, most recently discovered, or what they feel is the best Explosion/Action-Sequence/Demo. It is useful to include the chapter or even exact time of the scene.

I just watched "Taken."

The whole movie is reference material. The gunshots are RIDICULOUS!! but I challenge everyone who has this movie at their disposal to crank up their system and play the explosion during
Chapter 13: exactly @ 49 minutes, 03 seconds!!

Well, there's plenty of films that have many explosions and action sequences.

From the top or back of my head:

if there is a certain scene, or effect that is worth paying close attention to, it might be worth mentioning...

I say this because sometimes instead of watching movies in their entirity, I enjoy cranking-up the volume and seeing how my system handles it.

Recently I've been very impress with the bike/car chase in The Island

Action / chase sequence - Terminator 2 truck vs dirt bike or Matrix Reloaded on the highway (you know which I mean!!).

Explosion / Demo - Bad Boys 2 mansion blast (undisputedly the best).
