Nip/Tuck - Season 5: Please help get it released on Blu-ray

After the "Rescue Me" disaster another great show switches back to DVD-only: "Nip/Tuck". TVShowsOnDVD has reported Season 5's release date but at the same time they did point out that no Blu-ray set was coming. I think that's pretty awful, considering I do not want to revert back to standard defintion after buying Season 4 on Blu-ray Disc.

There already is a thread about this in the Wish List subforum but I think this is pretty important and more people should know about this. Please write a quick note to Warner, letting them know that most of us won't be buying the DVD set, and that we are profoundly unhappy with that decision of theirs. Here's the contact form:

Well if the cost of the production of the set isn't covered by the selling of the set, they are just gonna wait until BD is more popular and mainstream....

I have to say I'm not a fan of the fact that this thread was moved to the "Wish Lists" subforum. It's not about something I/ we want released someday, it's about Warner releasing this seaosn on DVD but not on Blu-ray Disc, and by that abandoning the format for "Nip/Tuck".

I feel my request for you guys to write to Warner doesn't really fit into the Wish List category, and besides, a lot less people will find this call for action in this place, compared to the main forum.

Well, then again, maybe I'm dead wrong.

So, if I contact WB for you on this matter are you going to contact Paramount for me and help get CSI:Crime Scene Investigation (Las Vegas) on to Blu Ray? That's important to me and that's a show that would really be great on Blu. Not that Nip/Tuck wouldn't but I never really been a fan of that show.

I was highly disappointed that none of the CSIs made it to Blu-ray this year, didn't expect that. Especially since the first half of "CSI: Miami - Season 5" is out on BD here in Germany....but I don't want German sets for oh so many reasons, one of them being that the latter half of the season is not even announced. Speaking about abandoned releases.

Back to topic: Warner released the back of the box for Nip/Tuck - Season 5 today, and they obviously still have no intention of releasing a BD set. What a damn shame.
Still not gonna buy the DVDs, Warner.

Maybe now after the release of NIP/TUCK season 5.2, they could release the COMPLETE SEASON 5 on Bluray!!!!
