Hi there. This is my first post here. I got a pair of Polk Monitor 70's and a Polk PSW505 that I connected to a Sony STR-DN1000. I'm just wondering where would be a good place to start with my crossovers. I am planning on keeping the system as a 2.1 setup and will be listening to music about 70% and movies about 30% of the time.
I do have the Monitor 70's Bi-Amped, so I believe that will allow me to keep the cross over a little lower and still have relatively clean sound. I just wanted to ask people with much more experience and knowledge on the subject. Also, I have read up on LFE vs. Line In options for the subwoofer and I'm also wondering if any of you have recommendations as to which sounds "better." I do understand there is no "right" answer and results will vary depending on acoustical environment and sound preference, but any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much! ![]() |
