I've noticed a Region A release for a while which is region locked unfortunately.

Is there a release date for a Region B version?

You mean the TV series right? Been looking around for season releases, but no uk release to date (that I know of).

the third season hasn't even had a standard DVD release here yet. Boo hiss. There are, as far as I know, no plans for UK blu ray releases of Dexter.

Just buy a region A player. The series is that good!!!!

I have to agree with you, Dexter is a great series! It just keeps getting more and more exciting, after I've watched an episode I cant wait one week before the next one is released!

I hope they do release it in the UK soon; I'm not gonna buy a new bluray player, my PS3 enough for me at the mo.

I have a US PS3 myself, and even though it's a great multimedia machine I'm not too pleased with the noice... The fan is quite loud.

So I'm using my region B Panasonic player as often as I can.

Dexter is region A PS3 material though.

And I see that you get a region A Blu-ray player from Amazon at about a hundred bucks. That's not too bad.

After shipping and fees it will be more and I doubt it's very good at that price.

Plus I already own 60 blus so I wouldn't be able to play them on a Region A player.

You can't buy a Blu ray player from amazon.com. It says this can't be shipped overseas like this: "We are not able to ship this item to your default shipping address."
As far as i know there is no site on the net that ships region A players overseas

Yeah it freakin sucks that they don't see the potential to release Dexter overseas on Blu.

Is there anywhere they ship region A players overseas because i sure can't find any?

I have a ps3 region 2 and stupidly bought a region 1 blu ray dvd. Is there anyway I can play this on my ps3? Thanks

Not that I know of, you can always download programs on your pc that will allow you to change your region, hope that helps.

You can also buy region free Blu-ray players. maybe that's the way to go? A friend of mine got the new Panasonic player region free from Sweden.

movietyme also sells blu ray region free players but I'm not sure what their shipping policies are. I do know the players ain't cheap though! I do eventually want to get one, due to stuff like Dexter and Weeds which are region locked and not in any way shape or form available in region B format. But as of right now, I just can't afford one.
