I am watching the original 1958 The Blob on TMC. At the begining of the movie robert osborne said that Rob Zombie is directing a Re-make of the blob. It will be intresting to see his vision of it.

A classic that DOES NOT need to be remade, this is the film that put Steve McQueen on the map. Plus the theme song by The Five Blobs(actually some studio musicians!)written by Burt Bacharach is awseome too!

it was already Re-made once in 1988

How many ways can you make a blob? I really liked seeing the originals as a kid and had more than one nightmare from them.

If Rob Zombie has no more original ideas he needs to step out from behind the camera and stick to music. This is a man who once said he would never film a remake, and two years later he trampled all over John Carpenter's Halloween. I liked his first two movies, but i've lost interest in any of his future projects.
