Default MACC Set up with pioneer recievers

just wanted to know how may people with pioneer recievers use the macc set up or do you prefer to set it up yourself.

I used the MCACC with my SC-25 and I thought it did a much better job than the more basic Audyssey setup in my Onkyo 605. Note that the 605 does not have the "full" Audyssey program. I'm still going to fine tune with an SPL meter though. I'm just waiting for it to arrive.

I use MCACC and love it. I have also relied upon the Advanced EQ Set-Up. However, I have also further tweaked my SC-05 within the EQ Professional, including the Reverb and Time Positions. I think MCACC is a great calibration tool, and I rely upon 90% of its results (yes, it does set speakers to Large sometimes and comes up with some funny channel levels), but it is mostly right on. That 10% is where I will do some additional tweaking because of the room's interactions with the audio. Since no 2 rooms are ever the same, changing some of the settings and the use of an SPL meter has become a necessary tool that has further helped to improve my sound.

I use MCACC for my 5.1 setting, however I turn it off for two channel listening.

thanks for all the rplies so far.. the reason for me askin is that i have had my ellite now for about a year and never really left it to the reciever to do. the othr day my fried says to me hey your reviever has be through a series of thx test that ensures it to be a dam good peice of hardwre so trust it. so i did and the way i had it b4 compared to now is night and day. scenes where there was plenty of base b4 i used macc setup is not so much any more but there r other scenes in certain movies that just blow my mind. the base seems tighter and movies seem more realistic in sound. i can now run some track at reference volume. its just awsome.

The Pioneers allow storage of six different MCACC measurements. Can that allow saving readings for two different rooms (one HT the other music 2.1)?
