Default Enabling PAL/NTSC conversion for Euro BD60/80s

Enabling PAL/NTSC conversion for Euro BD60

Although the US version of the Panasonic BD60/80 players support only NTSC output and devices, the Euro version, which is intended for use with PAL systems, has menu options for enabling NTSC content output as NTSC or PAL, and selecting whether you are using a NTSC or PAL display device.

So, a Euro user is able to play NTSC discs converted to PAL into a PAL display device, and to display menus and disc interfaces on NTSC displays. This of course leads to the question: how can you enable that one missing link, the ability to play PAL DVDs and BD content converted into NTSC for use with USA market sets?

Is there any software/remote hack known for enabling the feature on the Euro model? (To those who might not have read carefully, this is not a request for a region free hack, but a request for info for enabling the "has to be in there" ability to convert PAL content to NTSC output on the Euro BD60/80)
