Building a Home Theater - Little Help ?

Hi ..

I just sold my old Sony VPL-CS2 projector for good .. It's simply not enough for today (not even for yesterday since it didn't have even component).

I'm looking for an alternative ..

One major problem i faced with the projector was the cable length ..

Now I don't wanna go through this same story again with HDMI and the new cables ..

So, my direction is to go large LCD/Plazma (or OLED?) instead of projector. This way it'll be just close to the player and 3m HDMI cable will do the job. By large I mean 50" onwards.

What are the good options available at this size which provide 1080p quality at reasonable price ? Reasonable doesn't mean cheap, it means NOT Overpriced for brandname or so ..
