Default Building a home theater for my brother

After setting up my own home theater at my house, now my brother wants one too. He lives in an apartment but his listening area is quite large.
Sound is the most important factor here.
I would very much like your thoughts, suggestions, improvements on the configuration I had in mind for him.

Speakers: Bowers & Wilkins 685 Theater consisting of 2x 685 front speakers, 1x HTM62 center speaker, 2x 686 surround speakers and 1x ASW608 subwoofer.
link: http://www.bowers-wilkins.com/display.aspx?infid=2356
(Any advice on quality speaker cables would be most welcome)

AV Receiver: Onkyo TX-SR706
link: http://www.us.onkyo.com/model.cfm?m=...s=Receiver&p=i

Player: Sony Playstation 3 hooked up with HDMI to the receiver.

He already has a Samsung LE40656 television which will also be hooked up to the receiver via HDMI.

Any advice would be most welcome, thanks in advance!

With speaker cables I can't help you that much because I think you have different brands in the US. Although my speaker cables are from monster and they are pretty good. About the receiver. I don't even think the 706 is necessary.. I have a large listening area and the 606 is more than enough.. (I have the 605 but now you would get the 606)... We also have it connected to a BD Player in our listening Studio at the place where I work. The 606 is a pretty powerful receiver. Also there isn't really much difference between the 706 and 606.. (go to a local store and listen to them both.. You will see that the 606 is plenty)..

With the speakers I can't help you neither sadly, because most speakers we carry at our store are european.. We have a few Klipsch models which are fine but not great.. Sadly I don't know any Bowers & Wilkins so I can't help you there..

well first of all thank you very much for the reply.
second of all I'm not actually in the US (just put the US links up there to cater to the general audience of this site...) I am actually in Belgium.

I recommend Supra cables if they are available in Belgium, They are excellent and not very expensive either.
