Default Made a few updates

In the last few weeks, I added an Emotiva XPA-3 amp for my 3 front channels, added a Wadia 170i digital iPod dock, and added some LED colored back lights. I also added some vinyl channels along the baseboards to conceal the cables. Scroll to the bottom of the pics to check them out. Also have a new set of RTi A9's headed my way. Planning to experiment with my old A7's to see if they would work better as my side surrounds and then move the FXiA6's to the rear surround position?? Hope you like!

The Emo made a huge difference, but what really blew me away was the Emo combined with the Wadia 170i! Letting the AVR do the DAC work for the iPod with everything in Apple lossless really sounds sweet. And then, taking the load off of the AVR made the surround channels suddenly come to life as well. I am really pleased. But this, like any drug, makes you crave more! So here come the RTi A9's. Once they get here, I gotta chill out. My wife is going to shoot me.

I don't know much about the Wadia, but I'm using an Apple TV to stream lossless audio to my system.

I thought I read that it does a really great job. Glad you are liking the combo. I love my Emo amp, too.

Thanks. It is nice to share the end result of your efforts with people that also appreciate HT. My entire family and all of my buds are just not into it. They like to watch and listen, and oooh and ahhhh. But they would be just as happy with 1/10 of the performance in their own systems and would probably never know the difference. So again...Thanks for the nice comments.

Great Upgrades.
The lighting adds a Nice Touch of Atmosphere to the Room. And the iPod Dock makes an Awesome New Source for your system.

But the New 3-Channel Emotiva Amp has to be one of the Best Upgrades you could make.I Imagine It elevates the Audio Performance of your Home Theater to a New Level.More Detail and Depth, along with more power and more impact in the high Volume Action Sequences.

And I Love the Amp Stamd you have the Emotiva on.May I ask what brand it is and where you may have found it?

But your Overall System from the Components to the Awesome Polk Speakers is a Wonderful System From Top to Bottom. And the Decoration in the Room also helps set the Mood for Music and Movies when you enter in the Room.

And,like everyone else has noted,Beautiful Seating with the Chairs.I would Love to have a Room and System like that in my own Home.
Excellent Work in Assembling Such a System and Room.

Nice job Is7z06....very nice improvements and I like the LDE lights too. I use my Cyron lights when watching the LCD, and they add a very nice effect.

Thanks guys!
The chairs are Lazy Boy brand and I bought them at a Lazy Boy Gallery near my home. The amp stand is a Sanus brand. It is part of a modular system that you can add to and make into a tall audio component rack if needed. I bought it on line direct from Sanus. It is part of their Euro line.
