Default Samsung LN46B650 Or Sony KDL46W5100?

Hey guys! Sorry I havent been around in awhile but things came up and I started a new job and so fourth but I am glad to be back! Now I need some advise. I came into some money and I am going to be buying a new HDTV, I sold my Sony 52S5100, and I narrowed my choices down to 2 HDTV's and they are the Samsung 46B650 and the Sony 46W5100. I am going to be putting one of these on layaway this Friday at my local Sears and being that I get paid every week now I will be paying which ever one I get off quick. I just want some veiws and opinions on which one I should get and why. I selected these 2 models because they are in my price range so suggesting a higher priced model is out of the question. So lets keep it between these 2 selections I have made. So that being said which one should I go with and why? I look forward to everyones opinions! Again great to be back everyone!!!

Well since I got no feedback from anyone I went out and compared the models in person and via the internet. I am going with the Sony 46W5100 and the first reason is reliability, second the W5100 series ranks right up there next to Sony's top of the line XBR9 and the only difference between those 2 are the hz feature which is 120hz for the W5100 and 240hz for the XBR 9. The biggest reason why I wont go with the Samsung is reliability issues with Samsung tv's and that scares me to death. I have heard many horror stories from people who have owned a Samsung HDTV only to have something go wrong with it with an early time frame. Sony has never giving me any problems so its the Sony 46W5100 thats next in line for me.

hmm I'm in the same boat dude, I went smaller 2 years ago thinking 32'' that would be fine, well now watching movies like transformers just isn't even fun in my room compared with our elite and pani(s)... So I'm looking at samsung or Sony aswell my Ideal choice would have been a 42'' pani but I do a ton of gaming and I read IR still happens. so thanks for the input I'm leaning towards Sony simply for reliability.
