Default My first BD movie does not work

Hello,

I acquired Blu Ray drive a couple of months ago and first Blu Ray movie today. Unfortunately, it does not work, and this is displayed:

"The player cannot suppor this content (Error code = 0020). Possible reasons are:
1) Your optical drive is revoked, please contact your drive manufactorer.
2) Cannot support dublicate of copyrighted disc
3) Cannot support protected content from hard disc (HDD)"

The movie is legal (not a pirated copy), it is "Shutter". Regions are B and C (I live in Europe). The player is Cyberlink Power DVD. The BD drive is Lite-On Blu-Ray 4x BD Triple Writer SATA, Black, Bulk, it is acquired in my home country.

What could you suggest?

You have to have PowerDVD 8 or 9 ULTRA to watch BD movies.

My version is "7.2 BD Edition" and it came together with my BD drive, so I assume it is possible to run BD using it. Or am I wrong? Why would this program be called "BD Edition", have Blu Ray symbol on main menu and be bundled with BD drive then?

Go to their website and check it out. A lot of times bundled software is only good for a portion of the "paid" full version. You may need to upgrade.

Well it should work I think.

Perhaps hardware could be a problem? My BD drive is connected through the same port as Hard Drive (I mean, it is inner BD drive, not an outer one, and inside computer it is connected to motherboard as a Hard drive rather than as CD-ROM or DVD-ROM). Or are all BD drives are?

What other problems could there be?

While I hope you're able to watch Blus soon, I'd like to point out your drive might just not want to play such a terrible movie XD

...if so, it's smarter than I was.
