Default Best Animation Films.

I was just watching Wall E on blu and thought it was the best animated film ever. I was just wondering whether someone else thinks the same. If not which animated film you think is the best whether it has been released on blu or not?

Nice topic. Personally, I did not like Wall-E one bit. I thought the story was pretty cliche and even though I might be said to have no soul, I felt no emotional attachment. That being said, I def respect those that enjoyed the movie and it does look great on blu, it just wasn't my favorite.

Since "animated" is a huge genre, I will limit my favorites to modern Pixar or Disney affiliate films. My favorite is the first Ice Age, which I thought was great on all levels. I also thought Ratatouille was fantastic and looked amazing on blu. I have not seen Monsters Inc or A Bug's Life yet, but want to. There is no doubt that these films are reference quality blus.

For old-school animated films, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and The Lion King are far and away my favorites and can't wait for them to be on blu.

Don't know what the best is, but Lion King is my favorite traditional animated movie (and overall pick) and Toy Story is my favorite computer generated animated film.

I think the most important one is Snow White. My favorite, in terms of beautifully animated, would be Peter Pan.

My favourite is The Incredibles followed closely by Wall-e.

Honestly this catergory in genre should just go to Pixar considering they always produce first-rate films other than Cars, I have never once been disappointed by them.

Just for fun a quick top 10 list for animated movies

1. The Incredibles
2. Wall-e
3. Ratatouille
4. Up
5. Finding Nemo
6. The Lion King
7. Monsters Inc.
8. Toy Story
9. Kung Fu Panda
10. Pinocchio
