Default Twilight Zone: Definitive Collection?

Has anyone heard anything recently about the possibility of the complete original TZ getting a blu-ray release? I understand that the transfers they used for the DVD set were cleaned up greatly and should look fantastic on Blu.

I believe some of the episodes were shot on video and not film. That makes me wonder if it won't get a release because of the iffy quality of the video.

Any thoughts? Should I keep waiting for the Blu, or buy the DVD release?

No, i haven't heard anything but I would jump at the buy for the original series as well as the original Outer Limits on blu. Count me in whenever these two series make it to blu!

Not to worry. Of the 156 episodes, only 5 were shot on video. It was an attempt to save money, but no one was happy with the results.

I have the set on DVD - fantastic. Great PQ (for DVD) and an amazing wealth of extras.

I have the TZ: Definitive Collection and also the complete Outer Limits on DVD and I'm happy with both! I wouldn't upgrade if they were released on Blu.
