I used the firmware flash as recommended by the player, it played 2 movies, the 2nd was starting to skip and now it no longer reads any blu rays I insert, it just makes a clicking noise when it tries to spin it up.
dvds work fine. Its disappointing since I paid nearly $300 for it a year ago. I have owned this player for 12 months and 6 days. Any idea how to back flash the firmware on this player? I have tried flashing with the 1.7 Firmware available from panasonic's ftp site but it refused to update. Do I just need to buy one from ebay and sell this unit as a parts unit or something?
