Default Anyone here have the Panasonic BD35?

I'm interested in this blu-ray player and I'm waiting until one of my local retailers have them in stock. Does this one boot up faster than the Sony S350? Does this one have better DVD quality than the BD30? Does this one have multidisk resume for DVDs?

If you are planning to watch mostly dvds in a blu-ray player, its not worth your time investing in one. If you watch mostly dvds, I'd recommend you to buy a dvd player. DVD upconversion is better than the BD30, but not as good as the Oppos' DVD players. It has about the same boot up time as the S350. I read from someone from avsforum who has the BD35 that it may contain slight red push. As I told you before "no standalone blu-ray player has multi-disk resume for blu-ray movies or dvds."

The S350 boot up in 7 seconds from OFF (Stanby Mode) to Ready To Read.. this is the fastest player, even faster than the PS3 boot logo and intro

The two best brands for players are Panasonic and Sony...although I do prefer Panasonic, but I'm still not sure what I'm going to get for myself.

As the OP wrote in another thread that he or she tried out the S350 mainly for dvd playback and took it back because it did not have a multi-disc resume feature and tested a dvd that was not mastered well that it caused artifacts to be shown on screen. The OP wanted to buy the S350 for a second time, I replied in that thread that the same problems will occur.
