Default Ruh-roh KRP-500m HDCP compatible?

So my tv is working fine(better than day 1) but yesterday I got a cable box for the first time. I wanted to hook it up as DVI-HDMI but I got a message saying 'NO HDCP COMPATIBLE' or something similar.

What gives? Does KRP-500m not support HDCP or do I have something wrong?

Component of course works just fine.

At my last house I had my cable box connected to my 500M thru the DVI port and didn't have a problem. It might be your cable box or the cable.
