Default stupid Q about my old Plasma

Hello, sorry for the question but I cant seem to find an answer anywhere else. I have an old school Hdtv plasma, that does NOT have a coaxial input, and I have regular cable via coaxial. How can I get the coaxial cable to view it on the tv, any converters or something? I tried a dtv converter but didnt work??!! Thanks

No, you do NOT need a converter box. They are for use with OTA antennae, NOT cable. What you need is a VCR. All VCRs have an F connector for a coaxial input, and most have composite outputs ( yellow, red, white ) as well as coaxial. If you don't have one, check www.amazon.com . They have good new and used VCRs, as well as DVD/VCR combo units. But first, I would call the cable company and explain your situation to them. They should be able to provide you with a basic cable box at no charge.

Which one's the better? Plasma or LEDs, can anyone post some interesting thread about it?

Plasma, hands down. There are several forums on the web devoted to HDTVs. You'll find a wealth of info at these ( High Def Forum is a good one ).
