Default Stupid, stupid, stupid!

So... last night I was hooking up my speakers. I use Banana plugs (which are awesome by the way), however, in my haste to move all of my speakers into the living room for the second time that day (we are selling our house and I rearrange the entire home theater set-up everytime I have a showing. Yeah, I know it sucks, but until we sell our house and find a new one with an awesome entertainment room, my tower speakers, SVS cylinder subwoofer and Onkyo 805 will have to undergo these constant rearrangings until then. D'oh!!), I managed to catch part of the speaker wire under my shoe while I turned the left tower speaker around.

"Riiiiip!" was the noise I heard.

"Oh no!" were the words that spouted from my open mouth.

One of the speaker wires slipped from the banana plug and fell to the floor, the other wire was still stuck into the banana plug, which was still connected to the speaker jack, which was... hanging loosely from the speaker.

Luckily, I re-connected the seperated banana plug and tested the speaker. It still works, but the red connector piece is sort of just hanging from the back of the speaker. Needless to say, I feel like the world's biggest idiot. I can't believe how clumsy and inept I was to do such a crippling thing to part of my less-than-a-month-old $3000 home theater system.

I was thinking of using super-glue to fix it. Does anybody here have a better suggestion?

Thanks in advance.
