The Gobbletygooker...oh wait you said best gimmicks. Well I would have to say Stone Cold. Seeing him as a redneck was awesome. Eddie Gurrerro with his lie, cheat and steal gimmick put hime over as both a face and a heel. I miss him.

Except that Steve Austin is really a redneck, so his is not really a gimmick. Is it?

I think that was just a manifestation of his gimmick into real life.

Near the end... not so much.

I mean when you have a gimmick like that, when you have like 4 people in a group it's awesome {if there are other 4 people groups around} but if it expands to more than half the organization, that's when it gets concerning.

The chicks are probably the best gimmick going for "pro" wrestling.

He's in TNA or was. He was a few months ago. With the white face makeup, black trench coat and baseball bat.

When he first did it in WCW I thought it was cool because he was unstoppable. Then after awhile it was okay.

during steve austin's peak i actually liked the rock better...but he went hollywood. i would say austin/rock/undertaker/triple H were among the best at their peak. i dont really know anyone better in this current generation...

I think the best "gimmicks" are done by people who really embrace thier character and make it part of them (or an extension of thier personality).Jake Roberts was a master at this. as well as Undertaker,Stone Cold,Triple H and the Rock.
