Toy Story - Blu-ray Forum

Has Pixar made any announcements or plans regarding Toy Story/2? With part 3 coming this summer, it would be nice it they set up a combo blu like their dvd, with parts 1 and 2 on one disc.

Though, probably they're going to wait until November next year when 3 hits blu, right?

Yes, they will most likely wait until 3 hits home video to tie them all in.

That website lists both Toy Story and Toy Story 2 as expected in March.

I think this would be an appropriate time to release them to build momentum and hype for Toy Story 3. I then presume they will release a trilogy boxset on Blu when Toy Story 3 is released on Blu.

I have a feeling that with 3D tech coming to the home market at the end of next year we could end up seeing Toy Story 3 being the first Disney 3D Blu-ray. We could also see the box set of all 3 as well.

all three will be out in 2010. The question is whether the first two will be released to tie in with the June 18th release of Toy Story 3...

I would think they would release the first two before Toy Story 3 is in the movies, or at least before it hits stores. Then probably have the trilogy the day TS3 comes out.

And I hope there will be a choice of 3D or not because honestly I don't want it (for Blu-ray)

Although they are completely different movies, I think of the X-Men series. They released the first three seperately and trilogy in April or something like that not long before Wolverine started playing in the movies.
