Default Creating your own picture and picture commentary track with BD-LIVE

On some BLU-RAY movies that has BD-LIVE one can do instant text messaging with friends around the world while watching the movie. Such a feature is not important to me since it would be distracting to text message someone while watching the movie.

Also some BLU-RAY movies with BD-LIVE allow consumers to use the webcam on their PC to upload a picture and picture commentary track. It is neat that one can create their own personal video commentary track and share it with everyone in the world. Personally I am not interested in taking the time in creating my own commentary track for movies. Maybe some film fans like making their own picture and picture commentary tracks. At least one can rate the the quality of the picture and picture commentary tracks online after watching them. Also if someone records a offensive video and audio track there is also a report button to report the offensive material. Perhaps one day there will be several hundred commentary tracks for some popular titles. Some of the commentary tracks some individuals create themselves might end up being boring with incorrect information about the movie.

For consumers that own a BD-ROM drive in their computer the studios should add a option to be able to watch the movie off the Blu-ray disc while recording the commentary track at the studios website instead of being locked into watching a small lower quality web based video in the web browser.
