DJ Hero @ Best Buy. - Blu-ray Forum

At Walmart their is a deal where you can get DJ Hero & get a $40 gift card. Will Best Buy be able to price check that and possibly get a gift card for their? I know someone told me that you can do that but I'm just verifying.

Best Buy only price matches items that're IN STOCK at a competitor in your area, and as far as I know they don't match free promotional items. So, if they call Wal-Mart and Wal-Mart is out of stock they won't price match. I think that they would probably consider a $40 Wal-Mart gift card a promotional item too and not match it, but I could be wrong. You're safer just going to Wal-Mart in the first place.

They've price matched gift cards with purchase for me from TRU before. You must have the printed ad in hand for the deal and the store you are matching from must have the item in stock. Black friday or "doorbuster" deals are excluded from the BB price match policy. All is explained on the BB website's price matching policy FAQs.

this is such bull i went to walmart and i actually printed out the ad. they said the offer was valid only online so then on the ad it said "**offer valid in-store only" and they didn't except it.

Did you ask for a manager? I'd make his/her butt go online to the ad and have them honor it. Everytime I get into this type of nonsense with Walmart, I just have my wife speak with them since she used to be a Walmart sup
