Smile latest firmware on BDP-S300?
Hello everyone!

I am new here. I've just bought the Sony BDP-S300 a couple days ago from Best Buy. The weird thing is that I had to ask for the player as they did not have one on display. The saleperson said that they fear it being stolen. Strange...

Anyway, I'm so excited to be watching Blu-ray movies now, as I've been holding off seeing any good movies with Blu-ray releases. Now, I'll be able to buy and rent them.

My question is that how do I check that I have the latest firmware on my Blu-ray player the Sony BDP-S300? How do I check on the player itself? The following website says that there is no firmware update available, but I heard that there is a version 2.0. Is that true?
