bdp S300 firmware 4.50 - Blu-ray Forum

I just did another firmware update last night to my bdp s300. The Sony site has the 4.50 firmware update but it did absolutly nothing for me. My player still says Can't Play on Transsiberian and It gets stuck at the very begining of Babylon A.D. only showing a Black Screen that never goes away. All that after waiting about ten minutes to get to the menu screen.
I have had nothing but headaches with this POS. Should I just breakdown and buy a new one? Surely even the cheap Walmart Blu-Ray players are better than this junk.

I have to be honest with you I have the bdp-s300 as well with the latest firmware and its fine with B AD.

anyone having issues with Quantum of Solace? it wouldnt work with the old firmware (at least it would load the previews with the old), but now the disc wont even load anything with the 4.5 update, i am really disappointed with this player
