Default Not so older titles released as BD, but etxras not ported over

I just got the first Fantastic Four flic and it is a no frills ed. No extras except the audio commentary! I guess I'll keep my FF 1 & 2, as NONE were ported from 1---which were several featurettes. FF 2 is missing a couple.
They want us to adopt this format, but for a media that supports 6 more data, but offer us less in content?
I'm sure there are other titles that got the BD treatment, only giving us a tad more than vhs?
Any have fairly recent titles that are severaly lacking in extras?

I love Blu for the HD picture and sound that DVD and VHS can not offer. It may not have the extras because Fox was still leary about the format when they started producing BDs so many BDs were just the movie. If the extras are really that important then I might just buy the DVD USED instead. The price difference between a new DVD and new BD is so neglible now that buy a new DVD when the BD is available makes no sense.

Personaly, I prefer less extras per disc and more PQ & AQ for the movie.

No because it doesn't happen very often (if at all) anymore. You mentioned titles from when Blu-ray was first starting out (at leas for the first Fantastic Four film... the second one I don't really remember but I do know it's a year or 2 old).

Personally, I'm with the OP on this one. I LOVE Blu-ray -- I've double-dipped on many favorite titles now because they look so much better -- but it burns me up to replace a DVD and get a Blu with LESS than it had on it.

Rocky was a good case in point -- the DVD had several nice extras, the Blu-ray -- nada. The Thing is missing many extras. It's A Wonderful Life is missing a piece about Frank Capra. A Christmas Carol is missing a little profile on Dickens. Army Of Darkness is missing some features. Miracle On 34th Street doesn't have the colorized version included like the DVD -- I'm not big on colorization, but it's a selling point for many people. I have several other titles like that. I love the improved PQ/AQ, but I shouldn't have to keep the DVD copy just to still have the extras that got removed.

Basically, if the studios want the general public to go Blu, they should never offer fewer features for more money.
