Recommended Soundbar? - Blu-ray Forum

Here's the deal, I'm looking for a decent soundbar to improve the sound in my living room. I live in an apartment so I don't want to go all out until I move into a house where I can do it right. So basically I'm asking for any recommendations for a decent soundbar for under $300 if possible. I have a small one bedroom apartment so the living area isn't that big so I'm not needing the sound to cover a large area. I just want something to improve the sound for the time being. I can use this in a bedroom in the future once I am able to get a proper set up. I know today is Cyber Monday and was wondering if anyone knew of any good deals?

Check this review on the Boston Acoustics Tvee Model Two @ $350. Maybe you can do a search and see what places are offering deals today or this week.

Thanks for the quick replies. I know this isn't the most desired option for surround sound but like I said, I plan on getting a nice set up in the future so I don't want to spend too much money on the soundbar and I figured with today being cyber monday I could get one at a discount.

I found this one at Best Buy. It seems to have pretty decent reviews from what I've searched around on the net. Anyone have any first hand knowledge of this one? I know it's over 300 but I have a little extra cash I can throw into it if it's worth it.

Thanks for the input. I ended up getting the Polk Audio SurroundBar SDA Home Theater Speaker System for $399 at Best Buy. Hooked it up last night. It's perfect for the size of room I'm in and the wireless sub was a nice addition.
