My step-father is looking at sound bars,so I came on here to help him out.Who here has one and what do you think of it?I believe he want's to spend between $ 200-500.So if anyone has any inside info let me know..

Best soundbar in the market for under $500 IMO. 3 HDMI inputs and a powered subwoofer. Just read the reviews! I have it and love it!

The def. tech mythos ssa-50 was on sale on Amazon a couple weeks back if I recall right for $550. It retails for around $1100. You do however need a receiver for this as it doesn't have builtin power supply.

I had never tried for myself, but it was always my understanding that Polk was putting out some of the best economical soundbars, so I'd definitely add that to your list to look at.
