So I was playing Resistance online, right.......

yeah I was playing Resistance seriously for the 1st time last night....I only played it online for 7 matches total previously...

and I hook-up my blutooth.....it works and everything when I am in the lobby....but when I am playing there is nothing...

what the blank is going on?

You have to join a squad through the ingame menu or something, I haven't played a lot of Resistance online so someone else will know better.

Yeah I was having the same problem, however, I think all you have to do is press down and hold the L joystick to broadcast to everyone. If you enter a game with a friend you can just talk freely with that friend without pressing down the L joystick. Anyhow, you'll know you're broadcasting to everyone if a little mic appears at the bottom right of your screen. I hope that helps. Just so you know, I'm not expert at Resistance. I just started playing a couple of days ago also. One thing I've noticed though, people don't seem to like to talk on resistance.

some games are talkative.....but ......actually I was going to type something...

but then I realized the only person that confirmed that I was coming through was the person in my clan (when I was in the lobby)...but in the game, nobody heard me..

Very few people use mics online, it is best to use it with friends, no where near same people like socom.

well, since I am a Sony *****....I have 2 Sony Ericsson BT headsets....

but Jabra and Plantronics are just as good, if not better....any of the 3 mentioned are fine...

yeah after the 1.8 firmware update all bluetooth headsets seem to work fine.

I actually use bluetooth headset, bluetooth keyboard, remote, and two controllers, so I already got 5 bluetooth slots filled, only 2 more left.. lol.. one will most likley be a rumble controller..

I have a Sony Ericsson HBH-610a works fine on resistance and when I rented Motorstorm.

Remember those "who would ever need 7 blue-tooth devices - that's just stupid" threads. I thought I would because I planned to have a keyboard plus multiple controllers and headsets as well.

Keeps those USB ports free for a Playstation Eye, Printer, external HDD for backup and transferring data.

Damn Sony you screwed me. It looks like I'm going to run out of ports soon. Why didn't you build a next-next gen console for $199.

yes you have to join a squad, or you will be talking to everyone on your team. Just hit the start button once your game starts and go from there says squad or something i cant remember. I did the same thing aswell.

yeah I am too paranoid to hit start while playing....

unless I am mistaken, I can be killed while the game is paused...correct?

Yeah you can. Thats really annoying. You should turn invisible and invincible when you pause the game, and the background should go black, so you can't see what happening.

This is one thing that makes the XBOX 360 and enjoyable experience. Mics are the norm. I know there will be people flaming me......but damn Sony....you should have come out with a mic that came with the system.

Tough call for sure. Not everyone plays on-line or wants to talk/listen - which would have raised the price (or loss) another few dollars for everyone. Given the choice between free-online and having a headset in the box I'll take the free online. I wouldn't have paid for it. I would assume that most people that want to talk and get more involved would get one and those that don't won't.

I already had one from my cell phone so doesn't end up being a biggie for me either way.

It would be preferable if MS had used an industry standard like blu-tooth so you could have used the same headset for either console though. Plus you have more selection.
