I'd say they really need to rebalance the competitive mode. The thing is, you can get your ass handed to you if theres a bunch of top level players on one team and theres only some low level guys on yours. It just gets annoying (unless you happen to be on the good team).

Uh yeah, that's what happens when better players fighter lesser players. The only way to "balance" that would be to have some AI that dynamically instated handicaps. That would be dumb. If the game were unbalanced, lesser players would be able to exploit things to crap out a win. That would be dumb.

for R2, co-op is better, competitive is just TOO crazy for me.

I got to level 30 on soldier on Co-OP and when I go back it's ridiculously easy and i'm a total badass. Usually finish with about 200+ kills and about 50-70k XP.
Competitive is very fun as well and I average about 20 kills / round. |

While the competative can be fun.. I only like ctf and usually thats not a popular one for ranked games.. I like open areas because im a sniper.. but alus ranked games usually run closed rooms for ctf which limits it use... I find unranked games more fun as I have a pretty high chance of finding nice outside ctf levels where I can duel with fellow snipers... Sadly that scores me no xp so I remain a noob for ever.. LOL |

You know, that's a tough one. I've spent a good amount of time playing both and like them both equally I guess. On one hand, you've got Competitive where you can "test your might" against real people and it never gets old. There's no AI so you don't know what to expect. Also, if you play Unranked, you can get up to 60 player death matches. I love the chaos. On the other hand, you have Co-op where you can team up with 7 other people and go through a mission. The more people that join means the more enemies to kill which makes it more fun and challenging. A Co-op match, when playing the right mission, can take a good half hour. The downside is that if you get stuck on a team of people who don't know what they're doing or they're not team players, then it can make the match suck and end very quickly. That can be said for both Co-op and Competitive.
On Co-op, I've maxed out my Soldier and Spec. Ops. and am working on my Medic. I don't know where the leveling up stops for Competitive so I'll keep working on it until I can't go any further. |
