The Best Spoof/Parody Type Film? - Blu-ray Forum

The list is movies based on spoofs of other films or parodies. I didnt include movies that were parodies of a tv show taking seriously. Listed only the movies that made funny spoofs of either genre's or peticular movies itself. Also didnt list sequels as list was long enough. Very long list so I think I got most that needed to be included. If not just vote for the best one on the list.

That fact that its so new might play a hand in my choice but I have to say Tropic Thunder.(which I will vote for as soon as the poll is posted)

Ah, I did not know the poll is posted separately... Tropic Thunder is a great one, I hope he includes Young Frankenstein.

Actually many Mel Brooks films but I love this one.

CZAR doesn't usually post a seperate poll but he mentions a list on this one so my guess is that it is coming a bit later.

My actual vote would have been Spaceballs but I did not see it so I went with Galaxy Quest but I could have also pick Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, Robin Hood Men In Tights...Mel Brooks is a genius for me

Well I had to go with Dont Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice In the Hood, such a funny movie. But the poll did miss Young Frankenstein which I would have voted for, Spacballs perhaps as well...

Tonnes of movies on there I had never even heard of.

I'm gonna go ahead and disagree with you on that one CZAR. In many ways, Tropic Thunder is the ultimate spoof because it is basically Hollywood spoofing itself.

But, you are the poll master so it is your show. Given the list as is, I'm picking Galaxy Quest.

Not the best, but "Cleavagefield" deserves an honorable mention.
