Default Any animé you want in Blu?

Since I'm a huge fan of some animes & mangas I really wish some of it will hit blu-ray soon..

so anyway here is my list:

Bleach

it's a big action anime with 136 ep so far (still running) and 236 manga chapters
it airs with 4:3 ratio with no HD in sight, so it would awesome to watch it in full HD

and sony is one of its main sponsors

One Piece

It's a funny & deep adventure about pirates, so far it reached ep319 & ch466 after 10 years
the last 100 ep or so are aired in 720p HD so this one isn't hard to imagine in HD

Death Note

It's a great anime and one of the kind
It's only 37 ep and it's in 16:9 so it's not a hard job and will probaly take two 50GB blu-rays at worst

If you put all Death Note on 2 BD wouldnt it be SD quality? Whole point of BD over DVD is quality.

I would like to see Full Metal Alchemist, Samurai Champloo, and Wolf's Rain would be great. Even one day if they released all the Ranma series would be cool. I think anime would have a def bump in quality on BD .. especially on larger LCD tvs.

No, it won't be in SD

you have for example the series Weed, the first season was on one 50GB blu-ray with MPEG-2 !!!

Default Anything right now!!

If I were to walk into a store right now and see any anime series on Blu-ray, I would most definitely buy it, and I'd be happy too.

...but really, like some of the other posts have mentioned, anything from Bandai or ADV would likely look amazing on Blu-ray.

COME ON ADV, RELEASE ANIME ON BLU-RAY ALREADY!!!!
