What Receiver Setting do you use?

i know this has probably been asked a million times but im really curious as to which setting im to keep my receiver at, i have an onkyo 606 and im not sure if it should be left at multi channel , all channel, PLXII, Neo 6, was just looking for some advice,

When I had a 605 I left mine on Multichannel for blu-ray watching.

I keep mine on 'DIRECT' mode. That way the receiver will push out what it received. Unless, of course, it is a 7.1 mix, then it will downmix it to 5.1 since I don't have a 7.1 speaker setup.
