Default Which is worse: Spider-Man 3 or X-Men 3?

I was kind of debating this in my head today and was curious as to what others thought. They are both similar in the sense that the 3rd films are the weaker of the trilogies. Both suffering from weak dialog...and yet both have the best picture quality. But aside from the technical aspects which film is weaker?

Both make me cringe, but I think spider-man 3 is my choice.

Without a doubt, Spider-Man 3. No Spider-Man movie is anywhere near the X-Men movies.

Alien 3 and Godfather left a bitter taste in one's mouth in otherwise spectacular sequels.

Definitely X-Men 3 because to me at least Spider-Man 3 is actually watchable.

Both of these films butchered my favorite comic book characters... that being Cyclops and Venom.

Seriously... Cyclops is the leader, and is SUPPOSED to a main character in the Phoenix Saga stuff... yet, they just kill him off... yeah. I'd say X3 is worse...

its hard to call, but i remember being far more let down by spiderman 3 than i was by x men 3.. i guess my expectations werent as high for x 3 with the new director attached and all the online bashing it was getting...

in an alternative universe.. if Singer had to make X Men 3 and we had no superman returns.. i wonder how things would have shaped up? Singer could have done X 3 and be releasing Superman returns around now...

X-3 was a bigger let down, the trailer was so awesome then the movie was flat compared to that awesome trailer they put out. But besides that aspect spidey 3 is weaker.

I really liked X-Men 3. But Spider-man 3 is definitely worse compared to the first two.

Definitely X3. Ratner totally blew the Dark Phoenix storyline that Singer was setting up. X and Cyclops went out like punks and you had the mutant stand on the Golden Gate equivalent of the Gay Pryde march.

While I personally like both films (not to say their prequels aren't better), I have to vote for X-Men: The Last Stand. Only because I really hated Superman Returns, and I feel that if Bryan Singer and James Marsden hadn't have left X-Men to do that, X3 would have been a better film.

I really enjoyed Spider-Man 3, and am apparently in the minority for absolutely loving the scenes where Peter Parker walks down the street in the suit and dances in the bar. I seem to be in the minority for most three-quels, though, because I love The Matrix Revolutions and the third Pirates of the Caribbean as well.

Spider-man 3 is my choice, I actually liked X-Men 3, it sure is weaker than No. 1 and 2 but it's a decent movie.

Spidey 3 on the other hand is a farce, during half an hour we've got to watch the evil, dark clothed Emo Parker dance around and being silly and then when it's actually getting interesting, the fight against the evil guys is already over.

Oh and let's not forget the multiple changes of Mr. Green Goblin Jr....oooh he's evil, no he's not....yes he's...no he's not!

Movies like Spider-man 3, Fantastic 4 and Speed Racer should've a maximum age warning, if you're older than 12 don't watch this!

I liked both Spider-Man 3 and X3. Sure, they weren't as good as the first two movies in each series, but I still found them to be entertaining.

I liked Alien 3. So far everyone has said Spidy 3, x-men 3 and Godfather 3. Both of Superman 3 and Robocop 3 are worse films all round.

For me it's Blade Trinity, it just wasn't close as the first two movies.

What year did these come out? 2007 right?

Wasn't that the year of X3, Spidey 3, Pirates 3, and Bourne 3?

It was a crazy time in the theatres and in the end I only really liked Bourne 3. The others are still watchable (I own them all - or will once I buy the X-men Trilogy)

as for the 2 actually in question, I'm going to have to say that I enjoy X3 more

Spiderman 3 is horrible in every aspect! I actually like X3! I didn't find one thing interesting in Spiderman 3 except Venom, and he was only in there for about 30 good seconds!

I don't mind Spiderman 3, X3, or even Godfather 3. Upon thinking about all the different series of movies out there, I find that I am tolerant to most of them.

The ones I dislike that can think of right now are:

*Alien 3, although I kind-of like it now.
*Superman 3, incredibly goofy.
*Creepshow 3, incredibly bad.
*Batman Forever, which was goofy.
