Spider-Man trilogy box set or Spider-Man 3 - Blu-ray Forum

I stil havent decided which one im gettin. On one hand i want Spider-man 1 and 2 more than I want 3. On the other, I want some nice special features on my Spider-man movies. So who is gettin the box set and who is waiting for the individual releases?

Boxset, the extras for those two films I already most likely know or seen with the DVD releases so I really don't give a crap about extras, hahaha

I want the trilogy but I'm disappointed with the bare bones release of the first two films, so I'm undecided. You end up spending a lot more buying them individually, but you get more content. Since I have the DVDs I will probably give in and get the trilogy.

I'm just getting Spiderman 3. I dug out the DVDs the other night and had a look at the extras on 1 and 2 and there are some ok features on there. Almost thought about getting the box set and just keeping the DVD versions for the extras, but I'm already getting that "wanting to replace DVDs" feeling when I see something on Blu-ray I liked that have on DVD.

Damn you movie companies!!!

Hey,

Has it been confirmed that there will be seperate releases?

I guess that would make sense. I wanted the trilogy but the thought of better audio on Spiderman 2 via a seperate release has me confused now.

Ordered the box set from DVD Pacific. Just hope they work in my Samsung BDP1000 (heard ugly rumours that they don't work in that player).

They won't work without a FW update.

What matters is when the FW is updated and I suppose IF.

Definitely the Trilogy. 3 excellent & entertaining movies in HD (and lossless sound) for $56 is a steal!!!

They will have 3 individual cases. That was confirmed by Paid Geek on the insiders thread.
