Default PS3 steaming with windows 7 problems..

Ok I recently upgraded to a new sony viao laptop with windows 7 and now when I stream video to my ps3 its choppy and lame. So bad I can't even stand to watch it.
Before on my old 2003 desktop with windows media player 11 it streamed flawless. Is there anyone else having this problem? Do ya think an update soon will fix it? My music files stream fine but video suxs!

Wow nevermind that I figured it out but still does it lag lag lag. Which makes me think its my laptop, which doesn't make sense seeing as how it totally surpassed my desktop in everyway....

By default PS3mediaserver assumes you have an ethernet hookup, which means if you're streaming over wifi it'll use too much bandwidth. Go into the ps3mediaserver's transcoder settings tab and limit the bandwidth to 50 Mbits or less.

Edit:

Oh, and the download links to the newest versions has changed, look here for newer versions of ps3mediaserver: http://ps3mediaserver.org/forum/view...php?f=2&t=3217
