Default Nvidia Tegra 2 or Awesome in your Tablet coming 2010...

Tegra 2 was announced last night at CES. Looks like the big thing over the coming year is going to be tablet PCs and Tegra 2 is the platform many will choose.

With rumours that MS have a skunkworks team porting W7 to ARM coupled with Tegra 2 using an ARM Cortex based CPU it looks like Tegra based tablets could be the breakout hit of the coming year.

Devices such as this are expected to launch through out H1 based on the original Tegra spec, while H2 and more specifically Q4 will see the release of smartphones and tablets based on Tegra 2.

How awesome will be Tegra 2 be? So Awesome...

I love the power that tablets are getting these days. So "Star Trek"y. I just wish they would come with free 3g or at least a cheap 3g. I don't see real practical application using this anywhere on wi-fi when a laptop offers so much more power and versatility.

WiMax will answer that. Sprint unveiled their 3g/4g WiMax at CES and it's pretty fast. When the WiMax drops out it automatically switches to 3G EV-DO.

Is it cheap/free or that ridiculous $40+ a month they charge for the laptop cards?
