Canada Sony Blu Ray Problem

Hello everyone! I was wonder if anyone knows about a problem that I'm having with playing a blu ray (The Hang Over) with Sony BD PS560. The credits will play fine and when your at the menu screen and press enter to play you get a message "This Movie Is Prohibited To Play" After I pick this player up from the store I tried it out at my parents before taking it home and the movie played fine with no problems. Soon as I took it home and set it up to LCD TV the movie wont play, but played perfectly fine at parents house.

Thanks for your time

Bryan

Could be a region coding thing? Probably need more information on the TV models and version of The hangover you have.

Connecting via HDMI to LCD? How were you connecting at parents house?

Guys, this is a player based problem. It has nothing to do with the way the BD Player is connected.

Have you checked your firmware. Make sure it is up to date.
Also, make sure the disc is clean. I say this all the time but a slight scratch can cause a problem.

BTW Seeweda ------- The Hangover is a WB Disc. WB DONT Region Lock their discs.

When I bought this player that was the first thing I did was upgrade the firmware and the disc The Hang over, is new. All I get after the menu screen is This operation is prohibited.

Thanks again.

At the menu screen, he was pressing play instead of enter. When he pressed play on the remote the player would respond by saying "This operation is prohibited" or something like that. He could never be able to watch the movie cause of not pressing the right button.

Have a great one!

Ok maybe i took it the wrong way and sorry about that. Just wish the poster would indicate he or she was joking around. That way it wouldn't cause bad energy.

Have a good one!
