Default To put things in perspective :)

And relativise...

It seems people agree that Sony and in a certain measure Nintendo had the best things at E3.
FFXIII doesn't even seem to register.
The BBC called Sony's presentation a "Dazzling show of Technology" and many presenters says that "Nintendo and Sony are in the clear, 360's cloudy".

The top5 E3 anouncements belong to Sony and Nintendo

I didn't even pay attention to the Nintendo part of E3, so I cant speak on that, but I fealt Sony had a Stronger showing.

MS show seemed riddles with copying others. Mii/Home avatar ripoff. Lips fot the singstar lovers. I would have bet that they would have some sort of wiimote to show off as well.
They showed three AAA exclusives. Gears 2 (which is impressive) Fable 2, and Halo Wars.
All three games will more than likely be on the PC at some point, making its exclusive status a non factor for people with paitence.
The rest of their show was Non exclusive multi console games.(Re5, Fallout 3)

The netflix deal is probably the most important thing that happened. On the PC that streaming content isn't in HD so I figure the video quality will be similar.

FF13 going multi just proves that the world of exclusive 3rd party content is coming to and end without big checks to keep it otherwise.

I would not be suprised to find out that Tekken 6 will be on the 360 as well. In fact I would put money on it. Namco proved this with other game already.

The PS3 on the other hand showed many exclusives. I dont recall anything I have't heard of but I also heard of the 360 exclusives prior to E3 as well.
(Heavy Rain, Infamous, LBP, Motorstorm 2, Resistance 2, Killzone 2, Quest for Booty, The AGnecy, and DC universe.

Everyone seemed to assume that trailer was CGI.

It wasn't. Not sure why Sony didn't mention it, but maybe they were afraid if it couldn't be maintained at that quality the backlash would be too much.

Especially if you go back and watch the Sony presentation in HD (can download off PSN). If you watch that trailer again, you will CLEARLY see that it is NOT a CG pre-render. It's very obvious actually; however, it still looks pretty good.

I actually did a 'hmmmm... interesting' when I noticed. Helped pump me up a little again.

Just watch the HD thing from the conference. It's VERY obvious.

If it is a CGI pre-render than it's an extremely poor one.
