Anyone know what the new King Kong release on January 31 is for? New, old, remastered? I heard about it through Barnes and Noble and see it on Best Buy's website as well.

The BD Transfer is as good as it gets. Same transfer for sure.

I'm already lovin' the first version....wonder what this one includes in terms of extras or rewards??

yeah it must just have extras.

overall, when you look at combined PQ/AQ, its arguably a top-10 among all blu-rays (along with I Robot, Transformers, etc)

Movie Cash for the 2010 remake of The Wolfman

No flipper, no DVD copy, no new extras, no new packaging. Just a sticker advertising the inclusion of movie cash.

Agreed....the blu is as good as it goods from a technical standpoint. I am still in awe of the first time I watched it on blu, that's how good it is.

Maybe by including the extras?

I mean, theres a whole 3 hour making of documentary and over 30 minutes of deleted scenes and none of those are on the blu

Was the first one an extended edition? So this second one is going to have just movie cash? Seems kinda stupid to release it again with movie cash.

No, the first release was not the extended. So we are getting the extended as a bonus not just the Movie-Cash.

The original Blu-Ray had both the theatrical and extended versions.

The first release has both the theatrical and extended versions:

So again, the only thing added is the Movie Cash. This is to enitice consumers who have yet to purchase the Blu-ray Disc with a special value promotion.
