Default HDMI Source Selector/Switch?

Anyone use one of these currently? do they work properly? I was at Best Buy today and saw one for $199, there has to be a more inexpensive one available out there somewhere.

Monoprice.com Assuming you aren't going with super long cable lengths I've heard nothing but good things about them.

No, everything will be on the same TV stand and within a few feet. I'll look into the Monoprice one.

Do you have the manual switch that's $19 or the remote powered one for $32.50? The quality visually is still good?

I have the 2X1 Manual HDMI Switch - Push Button Type

My reciever only has 2 hdmi in's...so for slot #2 my PS3 gets sole useage...for slot #1 I use the switcher for my DISHNetwork HD and an upconverting DVD player.

Works well. (the only visual degradation you would see with a digital cable would be sparkles or no pic at all...and well, I get a great pic.)

If you buy one just make sure to have the correct amount of HDMI cables, i remember buying one and i had to wait to use it cause i forgot to purchase a third HDMI cable.

Yeah, thanks for the reminder. I ordered 2 of their cables to go along with the one I have.
