Default PS3 1080i Help
I just got my PS3 today and I got component cables for my machine because my reciever (that i use as a switch) doesn't have HDMI. The component cables is connected to the multi-out not from the HDMI port of the PS3. Anyhow, my tv supports 1080i but when I try and set my display settings to 1080i it does not let me, I can only get 720P. On my dvd player (which is also run through the receiver) I can get it to 1080i but how come I can't get my PS3 to do it? any suggestions or comments? I'm using the official component cable from Sony and I have firmware 1.90.

Do I have to get a "HDMI to Component" cable to get 1080i?
