Default Almost 2 years ago, Universal said.......

Just prior to the end of the Toshiba HD system, Universal said they were preparing STREETS OF FIRE and BACKDRAFT for HD release. Then, of course, HD died. I'm surprised they haven't shown up on Blu and certainly wish they would. Anyone else want these two?

Havent seen Streets of Fire but Backdraft would be cool. The scene where the house blows up would sound real nice.

Both were released on HD DVD, so I'm kind of surprised that they haven't made their way over to Blu-ray yet. My only guess is that they didn't sell very well and Universal doesn't see them being profitable enough to release.

I would love to have Streets of Fire on Blu-ray. Just think: a young Diane Lane in HD.
