I'm confused

It says the motion picture event of the year or something. Does that imply it's going to theaters? Do documentaries go to theaters (besides Sicko and Inconvenient Truth)?

Yes, but mostly on a limited basis.

Oh then that makes sense. I didn't really know there were things about Ali left to uncover/talk about. It looks well-made though.

That's what has me most intrigued about this doc. Love to hear what his opponents have to say looking back.

Fantastic documentary. Not the Clay ('err....Ali) lovefest I was expecting.....and that's a good thing. Leon Spinks is hilarious in this. Overall, highly recommended.
