Default McIntosh stereo receiver/amp?
The g/f currently has a Marantz CD player and one of those crappy all-in-one phono/tape/tuner things we all had in high school. Her speakers aren't high-end or anything. She just loves McIntosh products. I don't know why (probably because they're cute) or where she even came across them.

So, what are the chances that I'll find a decent stereo amp/receiver into which she can hook her two speakers and CD player? Any ideas? Everything I've seen on Audiogon is pretty expensive.
