Default Favorite concert films

So, which in in your opinion is your favorite concert film(s)? It can be from bands, single artists, acts, etc.

Me, it would be...

Shine A Light - The Rolling Stones
The Song Remains The Same - Led Zeppelin

So, which are yours?

I love the unreleased Pink Floyd - The Wall Live from Earle's Court.

I also have to mention Green Day - Bullet In a Bible and The Strat Pack.

As far as BDs go these are my favs:

Stevie Wonder: Live at Last
Talking Heads: Stop Making Sense
Christ Botti: Live with Orchestra and Guests
Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds: Live at Radio City
Within Temptation: Black Symphony
The Killers: Live from the Royal Albert Hall
The Police: Cerifiable
John Mayer: Where the Light Is

I was generally blown away by all of these.

I know I'm gonna get grief for this, but I'm used to it...

Celine Dion "A New Day..." - an amazing blu ray and the concert and behind the scenes material are all first rate.

Okay...let's have it!

So did I, but the BR is totally worth the double dip. DVD pales in comparison. The BR has 8 songs not included on the DVD, including YYZ.

Chris Botti - Live with Orchestra and Special Guests
The Police - Certifiable

Both of these have some of the most gorgeous audio your system will deliver (24-Bit/96KHz).

On DVD, a couple favorites are The Eagles - Hell Freezes Over and Coldplay - Live 2003. Love both performances and the DVDs also have DTS audio.

Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds: Live at Radio City Blu-ray
Yes: Live at Montreux
Jethro Tull: Live at Montreux

My favorite is, The Eagles - Farewell 1 Tour - Live From Melbourne. But unfortunately it is only on HD-DVD. I'll keep my HD-DVD player until this comes out on Blu-Ray.

If I had to pick one (which I'm really somewhat reluctant to do), I'd have to say: Legends of Jazz Showase with Ramsey Lewis.

Lately though the Stevie Wonder: Live At Last BD has seen a lot of playtime. I still have a few unopened BDs that I received last week, so ask me again in a few weeks? LOL!

I have this on regular DVD and love it. If this were available on BD, it would rank right up there and certainly within the Top5.

Iron Maiden's 'Death On The Road' is stunning. I wish 'Flight 666' wasn't so expensive on Blu!
