Italy Italian Blu-ray orders that don't charge too much for shipping?

Has anyone found an Italian retailer for ordering Blu's that doesn't charge an arm and a leg for shipping? The usual ones (unlibro.it, cdbox.it) are running E24-E27 to ship a single Blu-Ray, and I don't have enough on my wishlist to warrant blowing that much on shipping charges. If I were ordering a bunch of BDs, it'd be a different story.

problem is that blurays have already high price, even if you buy in Italy...
try to check dvd-store.it or dvdweb.it , quite often they got pretty low prices,so maybe even with ship tax price will be decent

What films are you interested in? I might be able to offer a few alternative options depending on the titles.

I like http://www.dvdland.it

Their prices are competitive and their shipping rates to the US for standard shipping are:

Order Total:
€ 0,00 - € 24,99 - shipping fee € 12,99
€ 25,00 - € 79,99 - shipping fee € 19,99
€ 80,00 - € 120,00 - shipping fee € 28,99

Thanks everyone! Pro-B, right now I'm just looking for "Italians" (by Verronesi) on Blu, but I imagine that in a couple months the new movie "Baciami Ancora" will be hitting Blu, and I'm gonna want that one too.

Hi guys.

I'm going to Italy in a couple of months and thought of taking A Fistful of Dollars (Collector's edition) with me home. Is there any central stores? I'm going to Pisa, Florence, Rome.

In Rome you'll find several large bookstores that stock DVD's, like Feltrinelli (one by Teatro Argentina, one on the Via del Corso a few blocks before Piazza del Popolo, and one in the Galleria Alberto Sordi mall also on the Corso) - and also on the Corso just before Piazza del Popolo, there're another 1 or 2 music/dvd stores - RicordiMedia, I think? You really can't miss 'em. Feltrinelli is my favorite, not only for DVD and Blu, but also for music (you can listen to most things with those barcode-scanner listening stations, when they're not out-of-order) and for art and architecture books. And they have a cafe in the store, so you can grab a coffee if you need a break from shopping.

I'll second the Feltrinelli recommendation! Ricordi Media is their DVD/CD centered branch stores. Feltrinelli is heavier on books. The Alberto Sordi Galleria store is huge and has lots of everything. Another thing: If you don't see what you're looking for in one store, don't take a clerk's word that it's not available. Go to another store; they may have it. This has happened to me several times. Their prices are fairly good, and you don't pay for shipping. That's the big savings!

Enjoy Italy and Feltrinelli!

Oh, there is/was another large media store called Mondiale on the Via del corso (I believe). If it's still there, it's worth checking out. It used to be called il Messagieri Musicale.

http://www.lafeltrinelli.it/

"Punti Vendita" at the top of the page is the list of physical locations. Look for the Ricordi Media in particular.

Price-wise, they're all the same as the websites really. But no shipping charges. And if you're into Italian movies on Standard DVD, you'll find tons of 'em at really reduced prices - lots of classics and contemporary stuff.

Okay! I'm just interested in A Fistful of Dollars (Collector's Edition really, and it would be a pity if they don't have it in stock when I'm there. Do any of you guys live in Rome?
